2nd class passenger carriage, type 111Ay

This is a new design of a passenger car with air heating. As each of us probably remembers, sitting in the compartment by the window there was a grille from which warm air was blown in the summer and earthy air in the winter. The best time was in spring, because then the temperature in the compartments was just right.

Wagons with air heating are a later development version of the Y type wagon family. Their production began in the mid-1980s by the HCP factories in Poznań and Pafawag.

Wagons with supply heating differ from the previous types, they have a rectangular grille on the aisle side and an air supply system on the chassis. The switch box was moved to the left side of the chassis when viewed from the corridor side, and a second box was added on the compartment side. These wagons do not have roof vents above each compartment.

A model of a wagon from the Warszawa Szczęśliwice station from the early 1990s. As it was a new wagon (a new design manufactured in the late 1980s), this wagon can be attached to an international train because it was approved for international traffic, e.g. issued by us Ost West or Hoek-Warszawa Express. This wagon can also be connected to the previously released Warsaw train (244310, 244610, 211120, 222310, 260610). It will be a perfect addition to the lineup from the beginning of the 5th era.

- each ROBO model has current collectors mounted in the trolleys and wires soldered and led inside. The model is ready to install lighting.

- current collectors in the trolleys are made of sheet metal. Compared to other models on the market, ROBO models do not lose their driving properties after installing lighting.

We try to include the most characteristic details in our models and reproduce them as far as technology allows us. It is safe to say that our passenger carriages are the best reproduced models on the Polish market.
