Wagons with air heating are a later development version of the Y type wagon family. Their production was started in the mid-1980s by the HCP factories in Poznań and Pafawag, and modernized by ZNTK as part of the repairs of the main wagons.

Wagons with air heating differ from the previous types in that they have a rectangular grille on the aisle side and a ventilation system with a heater on the chassis. The switch box was moved to the left side of the chassis when viewed from the corridor side, and a second box was added on the compartment side. These wagons do not have roof vents above each compartment.

A model of a wagon from the Przemyśl station, this wagon can be attached to the "Przemyślin" train, i.e. previously issued wagons (2112220, 222370, 200310).
