EN71-017 is a four-car electric multiple unit, commonly known as the “Góral” due to its operation on mountainous routes.

This unit was repainted from its previous blue-and-yellow livery into the distinctive red-and-light-cream colors, which were its first livery after modernization.

Trains of this type were primarily based in Sucha Beskidzka.
